Founded in Como in 1953 by the Molteni family, Tessabit is a group of luxury boutiques that asserts itself worldwide for the selection of the best brands of luxury clothing and accessories.

For three generations Tessabit has been synonymous with avant-garde and continuous stylistic research, in perfect harmony with the splendid setting of Lake Como and the needs of the international jet-set.

The Molteni family's adventure begins with Tessabit, the first historic store in Via Milano in Como.

The young Giampiero and Giorgio Molteni begin to collaborate with their parents in the management of the boutique, combining the professionalism and renowned good taste of the family with a strong dose of enthusiasm and freshness. Inspired by the Brit-cool atmosphere of the London fashion shows of the 60's, they select niche labels to accompany the most renowned designers, opening the doors of Como to new avant-garde trends.

The meeting with Giorgio Armani at his 1978 fashion show was the prelude to the opening, only four years later, of the first Emporio Armani single-brand store. A step that marks the beginning of a new era for Tessabit, from that moment always in the front row of the fashion shows, from Missoni to Versace, Ferré and many others.

STORES

A series of important new openings marked a decade of rapid growth. Tessabit's identity begins to express its full potential, starting with the T78 and T67 boutiques, entirely dedicated to casual and formal men's fashion. While the women's selection boasts garments from emerging designers alongside the lines of the new Japanese brands.

Minimal, welcoming and striking: these are the key words of the design of the new stores, including SET and SET UOMO, where a careful selection of accessories is presented. The same philosophy guides the third generation of the Molteni family, which in 2009 started out in e-commerce thanks to its collaboration with the exclusive online platform Farfetch. In the same year the online boutique tessabit.com was born and with that, the Molteni’s family guarantees a luxury shopping experience worldwide also thanks to special services such as the Personal Styling, the delivery all over the world and exclusive editorial contents dedicated to the latest trends.

Today, Tessabit is stronger than ever with more than 15 boutiques on Lake Como in exceptional locations and new openings every year, becoming a style destination not only for tourist, but for anyone looking for an unparalleled shopping experience.
