The pandemic does not slow down the tricolor multi-brand brands that have strategically decided to expand abroad, mainly in Europe. The objective is to establish itself in less saturated wholesale markets than Italy, characterized by a distribution system that is still highly fragmented. Among other things, gathering the favors of the top brands more willing to concede collections across the border, compared to further openings in the Peninsula.
[…] however, it remains a priority to protect the national territory in the best possible way by renewing its sales points and / or expanding into one’s own city or neighboring localities. Also because the top brands demand ever higher store standards, otherwise the risk is that they will take away the collections. Despite the health emergency, the sector is therefore in turmoil and is looking forward.
