Fashion supports, the “accounts” of the Mimit: 250 million for the sector in 2025. But there is no long-term plan

At the first Fashion Roundtable of 2025, with Minister Adolfo Urso hosting and representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Labor, trade unions, and business associations present, the government reviewed the funding for the fashion sector in 2025: 250 million euros.

During the meeting, the intention to create a technical committee focused on retail within the Fashion Roundtable was also presented. This request came from Camera Buyer Italia, which represents the country’s most important multibrand stores. “This represents an important signal for our sector and an opportunity to contribute to the improvement of policies dedicated to the industry, which is going through a difficult time. Only with everyone’s commitment can we ensure balance among the players in the supply chain, from production to distribution,” wrote Maura Basili, president of Camera Buyer Italia, in a statement.
