From this vision was born “A Passage Between Worlds”, the concept with which VALICO arrived in Milan for the first time. In a city that has always been a meeting point, the project brings with it some elements of Alpine identity: rock, materials, scents, and spontaneous vegetation evoke the landscape and the connection with its origins.
The evening was accompanied by a gastronomic vision of Lungolivigno, led by Chef Andrea Fugnanesi, who explored the mountains through food, raw materials, seasonality, and relationships with local producers.
At the heart of the event “Valico: Igloo for Ojos” was a performance by Marla Francis with Erica Meucci, Filippo Terlizzi, and Sofia Pazzocco, who interpreted the valico as a threshold and intermediate space, introducing a reflection on the relationship between body, space, and transformation.
With “A Passage Between Worlds”, VALICO brings a part of its identity to Milan and opens a path of new connections. Livigno remains the starting point, Milan the first landing place, on a journey destined to evolve through new places, people and perspectives.
