“If I hadn’t been a stylist, my dream would have been to be a writer. I love Virginia Woolf and her character is a source of inspiration that I wanted to pay tribute to in my collection. ”
These words are the frame for the entire Shuting Qiu Spring / Summer collection. On the catwalk we find a collection that refers to the world of Scotland thanks to the tartan fabric design, typical of kilts, but also for the more floral and feminine motifs. The designer also has a strong influence from the Indian world thanks to her recent journey, it is from here that the idea of applying colored beads and embroidery on dresses probably comes.
To keep up with the times the collection is made of 100% recyclable fabrics. Fabrics made with 100% recycled polyester from plastic bottles and decorations, as far as possible, the result of re-use, want to be a concrete commitment to promote sustainability in the fashion world.
Pure eclecticism. Flashy and innovative clothes that have brought wonder to an audience. The orange / blue palette dominates the collection and colors the wonderful and complicated Shuting Qiu dresses. An absolutely inimitable and “bizarre” collection whose clothes perfectly reflect the soul of the designer.
