The elegance of Borbonese makes Milan shine

Borbonese is one of the oldest Italian fashion houses, founded in Turin in 1910 by Lucia Lorenzoni Ginestrone. The new collection designed by Dorian Tarantini and Matteo Mena is a pure representation of contemporary elegance. During the twentieth century this brand collaborated with numerous artists, a period in which Italy was considered a reference point for art and in global design. For this 110th birthday, the 1910 Borbonese collection pays homage to both the personal past of the brand and the influences that have made it what it is today.

The chosen location, the Fontana room of the Museo del Novecento in Milan, also contributed to expressing this enchanting elegance. Topped by Lucio Fontana’s light sculpture, during the presentation in MFW the new Borbonese collection becomes the mobile element that makes its way into a space pervaded by architectural bodies covered with carpet. Metaphysical and pop, modernist and contemporary, 70s and 90s. Here is the spirit of the A / W 20 of Borbonese. A total look at the present of the brand, through the lenses of the topical moments of its history and that of Italian art.
