NUGNES, WONDER AND ASTONISHMENT: THE WINDOWS OF PALAZZO PUGLIESE HOST FLAMINIA VERONESI’S ARTISTIC INTERVENTION

Nugnes‘ shop windows are not simply exhibition spaces, but windows onto unexpected worlds, where art and fashion meet, offering a contemporary cultural experience through the exhibition space.

For the Spring Summer 2025 display, Nugnes involves the artist Flaminia Veronesi, with a project that embraces the entire perimeter of Palazzo Pugliese, transforming it into an immersive exploration of the marvellous.

The 18 showcases become gateways between reality and imagination. A single story that winds its way along the façades of the historic building, re-aligning the gaze to the enchantment of the world. Two showcases host three-dimensional paper theatres, site-specific works by the artist that invite the spectator to play, crossing the threshold of a marine kingdom inhabited by mermaids.

This intervention is part of Nugnes’ path of establishing itself as a creative and multidisciplinary pole, capable of enhancing the Mediterranean not only as an identity root, but as a laboratory of new visions. From Trani beyond the Mediterranean, from Trani towards the world: Nugnes becomes the interpreter of a new cultural expansion, a dialogue between tradition and innovation, between territory and global creativity.

At a time when Italian luxury retail faces complex challenges, Nugnes chooses to look forward with courage, believing that culture, territory and customer experience are the key to reinventing luxury. It is not just about selling, but about creating connections, transforming every encounter into a journey and every space into a story that excites and inspires. This approach translates into innovative projects such as Flaminia Veronesi’s, which not only enrich brand identity, but redefine the concept of retail itself, transforming it into an immersive, cultural experience.

With this installation, Nugnes’ shop windows become an open window onto a fantasy world, which speaks of the territory by reinterpreting it through play, defining an invitation to exploration that celebrates the dialogue between local and international. A tribute to wonder, discovery and the transformative power of art.
