Malo, the historic Florentine maison specialising in luxury cashmere knitwear, has created a special capsule of regenerated cashmere jumpers exclusively for D’Aniello boutiques.
Colourful and genderless, the jumpers of the MALO CASHMERE & D’ANIELLO capsule combine the heritage and high quality of the iconic Made in Italy brand with the typically innovative and avant-garde vision of the D’Aniello boutiques, present with single-brand stores in the Campania region and on the digital scene with a global e-commerce.
The capsule consists of crew-neck pullovers knitted entirely in English knit, a timeless workmanship by Malo, with a collar made in herringbone, another element of the Florentine maison’s historical heritage. They are longer at the back and shorter at the front with side slits and shoulders worked with ‘French-style’ drop. The labels are in shaved knit applied ‘on sight’ and strictly by hand.
Sustainability is a key element of this capsule. The jumpers are in fact made of regenerated cashmere, i.e. 50% cashmere garments carefully divided by colour, re-milled and trimmed, and 50% cashmere staple which serves to guarantee colour stability. This yarn is GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certified, which guarantees that it is composed of more than 20% recycled fibres, thus contributing to the consequent reduction in the consumption of resources such as virgin raw materials, water and energy and to the improvement of the quality of recycled products.
