    Klarna, Gen Z and Millennials enter the luxury market – MFFashion

    A report of the buy-now-pay-later app in collaboration with Camera Buyer Italia, analyzes the payment trends seen in 2021. Among the results, in the last 12 months younger customers have chosen luxury items in much higher percentages compared to those Gen X (50%) and Baby boomers (29%).

    The buy-now-pay-later is an increasingly growing payment solution in the fashion industry and to say it, after the forecasts of analysts and insiders, are also the numbers of consumers.

    This was revealed by Klarna, one of the leading apps for installment payments, which through a research conducted together with Camera Buyer Italia called “The state of smoooth: discovering luxury in 2022“, explains that fractional purchasing solutions have become a top trend down, which connects the youngest to Gen X. And which, above all, also embraces luxury, now no longer exclusive to the older generations, but a consumer area with a growing presence of young consumers.
