    MILAN, 18 JUNE 2019 – The Fashion Week closing cocktail party -“It’s all about creativity and business” – in the marvellous setting of Casa degli Atellani was organized on 17 June 2019 by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) and Camera Buyer Italia, with support from Confartigianato, the Economic Development Ministry, the Italian Trade Agency and media partner Class Editori.

    Thanks to networking efforts, Italian and international buyers were able to play an active role throughout the whole of Men’s Fashion Week and were also invited to vote the most creative of the collections presented.

    During the event, CNMI President Carlo Capasa, Francesco Tombolini, President of Camera Buyer Italia, Beppe Angiolini of Sugar and director of Camera Buyer Italia (responsible for Communication and Marketing) awarded a Camera Buyer Italia accolade to Francesco Ragazzi, founder and creative director of Palm Angels, because his collections give voice to a new creative era.

    While Beppe Angiolini and Francesco Tombolini handed the international buyers’ award to Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo, founders of the SUNNEI brand, the organizers this season of an urban upgrading project – “BIANCO SUNNEI” – inaugurated on Sunday 16 June on the occasion of the Spring/Summer 2020 fashion show. Supported by the Municipality of Milan and carried out under the artistic direction of SUNNEI, the initiative consolidates the bonds between the independent brand SUNNEI, launched by the passion of two young creatives, and the city of Milan.

    Fashion Week’s closing event was a very special occasion on which CNMI and Camera Italiana Buyer Moda worked together to support the emerging talents on whose creativity and enthusiasm the future of fashion depends and actively promote the marketing of future generations of designers.
