On the 22th and 23th of November 2019, IFTA (Italian Fashion Talents Associations), with the support of Ice-Agency, Regione Campania, CCIAA Salerno and the sponsorship of CBI and the city of Salerno, will host, at the Salerno Harbour Station Zaha Hadid, the Evening Dresses Show, its first international fair focused on eveningwear Made in Italy.
The event, which is a first not only for the city of Salerno, but also for the entire calendar of international trade shows, presents a great opportunity to make new business connections for the 30 brands which IFTA selected for the occasion with buyer-oriented criteria among the best Italian brands, with a special interest for those operating in the South.
30 companies, which have been invited, will have a schedule filled with meetings with over a hundred buyers, suppliers and showrooms from those international markets which have proven to be the most receptive to eveningwear Made in Italy. The companies will also have the opportunity to participate to the Exposition runway show which will be held on the 22th of November at 21:00 at the Salerno Harbour Station Zaha Hadid and which will be followed by the fashion show presenting the new Marchesa collection, special guest of the evening.
The Evening Dresses Show will close on the 23th with a gala which will be held at the Ariston Center in Paestum. During this final event the winner of the IFTAwards 2019 will be revealed and they will be awarded the opportunity to create a capsule collection, thanks to the collaboration of CAMAC srl. The IFTAwards is a contest organised by IFTA with the sponsorship of Regione Campania which is meant to support and promote over a hundred young designers who graduated from Italian fashion schools.
