A 5-stage journey, a journey towards the awareness of who we are and what we have always been.
Mantua is also the meeting point between fashion and culture thanks to the Bernardelli reality that has hosted events and projects since its inception to create that continuous synergy between new artists and the world of fashion retail.
The HUMAN project pursues the aim of restoring to the public the real meaning of “being (tense – infinite) human” today.
Unbound from any preconceived notion of contemporary art, HUMAN invades the space closest to and open to the public – a shop window, a dinner or even a square – and makes it the scene of the truest and purest human essence.
Born from the deep and personal intrinsic meaning of the works of the contemporary artist Stefania Lucadamo, aka Ellamadonna, whose artistic expression is outlined in a continuous path of self-analysis, HUMAN makes the past, emotions, choices, traumas, paths that man makes and experiences in his own life, analyzing those deeply unspoken but indisputably human inner contrasts that characterize and define us.
In the heart of Mantua, Bernardelli is synonymous with simplicity, elegance and originality. The path of the historic boutique began in 1983 with the idea of combining different elements to give light to unknown names in fashion, combining them with brands and contextualizing their collections in order to preserve the history of the store and its identity.
For the occasion, the luxury store has become a theater of reflection on the human being in all its truths, facets with 5 installations ranging from contemporary art to visual design.
