CONTEMPORARY WINDOW – IL NUOVO PROGETTO NATO DA WHITE E CBI
WHITE and Camera Buyer Italia, supported by the Lombardy region, will collaborate in a new format whose objective is shine a light internationally onto the best shops within Lombardy, through the massive display of its brands. This is a constant and fundamental collaboration. As stated by Francesco Tombolini, President of CBI: “A synergy that aims at sharing reciprocal needs and goals, thus becoming a vivid community who is ready to convey a strong identity and message to the final consumer, through these windows, and even during the Salone del Mobile event.”
During this year’s edition of WHITE, in September, the first hint at this collaboration will take place, savoring the very first taste of what it will be. “Contemporary Window”, a project within Tortona 31 / Archiproducts space. On the first floor, the space will become a square, a “forum” for the best Italian and international buyers and the representatives of the world press will meet. The focus will be here on the best outfits selected by the the top buyers in CBI, that will be accompanied by multimedia installations that will tell about the heritage of the stores.
Massimiliano Bizzi, WHITE founder, says: “In general, the path that WHITE is taking towards national and international buyers – just like the coincidence in time with the Milan Fashion week – shows great optimism for a higher than ever influx of visitors”. He goes on saying: “The most important Italian buyers, many of them important at an international level, show great emphasis on research, they need it. This is a reason why I’m more than happy to establish a collaboration with CBI, now that we are escalating into a new era”.
In conclusion, Alessandro Mattinzoli, the economic development councilor, says: “Regione Lombardia strongly supports initiatives like this, especially on a business sector so strong and driving like fashion for us, since our region excels both in quality of its manufacturers and the importance of the many fashion exhibitions that take place here. These are all occasions for growth and important opportunities for the international buzz around them”.
See you in September!
