Al Duca d’Aosta, the historical boutique which has always set itself apart for its continuous strive to find the perfect harmony between fashion and elegance, has just opened a new store in Padua, dedicated to formal, but contemporary menswear. The new boutique represents, both physically and conceptually, an attachment of the historical store located in the Galleria Europa, as it is placed in the corner in front of the gallery and is aimed to service men who feel the need to stay true to the sartorial rigour, while still distancing themselves from tradition. This is a new page in the history of the boutique: a new business development brought forward by Matteo, Cristiano, Alvise and Nicolò Ceccato, all descendants of Emilio Ceccato, who opened the first boutique at the beginning of the ‘900 century.
Al Duca d’Aosta descends from a fabric store opened in 1902 in Venice under the Rialto bridge by Emilio Ceccato, whose competence and skill in the field has been passed down for four generations, without anchoring the business to the past, but making use of the continuous change of leadership to introduce new and contemporary ideas. Today the stores Al Duca d’Aosta can be found in seven cities in the Triveneto, with over a hundred top fashion designers for men and women, each one carefully handpicked. In those stores, customers can find the most exclusive high fashion looks and the most iconic shoes, bags and accessories of the season, all of this without having to give up a look which stays true to their personalities.
