Riva, the Farretti Group brand, star of international nautical science, was the protagonist, from the 2nd to the 4th of February 2020, for the second consecutive year, of the Superyacht Design festival in Cortina d’Ampezzo, a major event for nautical science hosted by Boat International.
For the duration of the festival the most influential names in superyacht design met in Cortina d’Ampezzo to share ideas and experiences and to discover the latest trends in the yachting industry. Innovation was the central theme of the event, whit several debates planned for the weekend. Among the lecturers there were Piero Lissoni, founder of Lissoni and Partners and an expert in architecture, design, graphics and corporate identity; Terence Disdale from Terence Disdale Design, one of the biggest companies in the world which specializes in yacht design; Kai-Uwe Bergmann, one of the partners behind Bjarke Ingels’ world-renown architectural firm Bjarke Ingels, BIG; and Matthew Cruickshank, art director for Google, who creates the daily animation for the search engine.
For the occasion the Franz Kraler boutique decided to host the “Riva brand experience”, with a window display entirely dedicated in the shop in Corso Italia 76 and an exposition of some scale models of the new “Aquarama” in the store in Corso Italia 119.
