Malo, the historical Tuscan knitwear brand, symbol of craftmanship and authenticity, launched a new capsule collection exclusively for the luxury stores associated with Camera Buyer Italia, during an exclusive breakfast within the Malo Showroom in Viale Montenero 70, on the 22nd of February.
The capsule collection includes four garments, two for men and tow for women, in pure cashmere: a knitted sweater and a hoodie with an embroidery and jacquard in pink and light blue respectively, co-branded Malo CBI.
Malo was founded in Florence in 1972 and it was greatly successful in the “niche” market in the Cashmere world in Italy and abroad right from the start. The end of the eighties saw the opening of branches in New York, Düsseldorf, Paris and Tokyo. The company expanded with the acquisition of an ancient knitwear factory in Borgonovo val Tidone in Piacenza where even today most of the cashmere garments are produced, a factory in which old looms animated by the human hand coexist with the new for the realization of the most complex workings and textures. The first appearance was in New York in 2006, while 2019 marked a new course for the historic Florentine brand. Today the company returns to its first love, the high-end cashmere knitwear that has made it famous throughout the world, and aims to take the brand beyond the knitwear in a prêt-à-porter line where the same effects can be created in different fabrics.
